Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Houston is seeking a Procurement Manager – Facilities & MRO to lead regional and global category work, negotiate contracts, and drive value across facilities and MRO categories. You will shape sourcing strategies, build supplier partnerships, and deliver measurable improvements in reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Five+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or related areas.
• Experience managing Facilities, MRO, or related indirect spend categories.
• Proven supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance programs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional and global category strategies for Facilities Services, MRO, Site Services, and Capital Project support.
• Develop and execute category plans aligned with objectives and cost goals.
• Conduct complex negotiations for facilities management, maintenance, and MRO contracts.
• Deliver value through total cost of ownership, supplier consolidation, and inventory optimization.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHSS, Finance, and Legal to meet site needs.
• Monitor KPIs on cost savings, supplier performance, service quality, and risk.
• Mitigate risks via proactive category management and governance processes.
• Manage sourcing events including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Support business continuity through supplier qualification and contingency planning.
• Champion sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
