Job summary

Moody’s offers a 10-week summer internship in New York for students pursuing Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Journalism, or related fields. This program provides hands-on learning, networking, mentorship, and a leadership speaker series to build professional and technical skills.

Interns support planning and delivery of employee events—end-to-end, hybrid and in-person—aligning with Moody’s strategic priorities and culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Journalism or related field.
• Expected graduation date of May 2028 - June 2029.
• Ability to work full-time for the duration of the program from June 7 through August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging employee events that strengthen connections, culture and business outcomes.
• Assist with in-person, virtual and hybrid event experiences that foster connections among colleagues, strengthen company culture and support business outcomes.
• Help translate broad corporate strategies into event experiences with defined objectives, engaging content and measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to a scalable employee event framework by supporting the development of collateral, maintaining reports and coordinating event logistics.
• Produce timely, accurate deliverables under the guidance of experienced team members while demonstrating innovation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional partners to promote best practices and improve consistency across the enterprise events portfolio.
• Research industry trends and recommend opportunities to enhance employee event experiences, processes and ways of working.
