Job summary

automotiveMastermind is seeking an ETL QA Engineer in New York with a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on validating ETL processes, data quality, and test automation across cloud data platforms and APIs.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and IT to ensure scalable, high-quality releases for automotive dealership solutions. The candidate should have 4+ years in Quality Engineering, hands-on ETL testing, and experience with GCP, databases, scripting, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Excellent experience with data ETL processes, including mapping and data validation.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data storage, workflows, data integration jobs, and data processing tools.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and scripting languages for data quality test automation.
• API testing with RESTful designs and automation knowledge; performance testing experience.
• Experience with UI automation and API testing tools/frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Development to inform releases and testing.
• Design and implement verification test plans; create regression suites.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate requirements and designs.
• Develop and maintain QA processes, lead testing teams, and drive automation initiatives.
