Job summary

BUILD Renewables in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a motivated Estimating Intern to support cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial and utility-scale renewable energy projects. Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
• Review plans and specifications
• Support bid preparation and proposal development
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor bid solicitation
• Support development of project estimates
• Research material, labor, and equipment costs
• Update and maintain estimating databases
• Organize historical project cost information
• Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams
• Assist with bid comparison and leveling exercises
