Job summary

Jennison Associates is seeking a Sustainability Research Associate in New York, NY. You will contribute to the sustainability team by performing data-driven research, ESG integration, and portfolio analysis.

This role collaborates across investment, client, technology, legal, and compliance teams to advance responsible investment initiatives. The position requires 1-3+ years in a finance analyst role, strong Excel/data skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in an analyst role within finance or related field.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills (financial modeling a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly analytical, organized, and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to bottom-up fundamental research, including data analysis and written research notes.
• Link sustainability factors to business fundamentals, valuation, risk and outcomes.
• Develop and perform portfolio analysis to support integration efforts.
• Support stewardship activities including company engagements and proxy analysis.
• Collaborate with investment, sales, compliance, risk and tech on sustainability requests.
