Job summary

Software Technology Inc is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to administer, maintain, and optimize our ERP database infrastructure. Responsibilities include security, data modeling, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning across Oracle 19c, RAC/ASM, and Data Guard.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems or computer science.
7 to 10 years of experience in DBA/Oracle databases.
Strong experience with Oracle 19c and RAC/ASM on Linux.
Experience migrating Oracle databases to OCI.
Experience with RMAN backup and recovery; Data Guard.

Responsibilities

Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the ERP database.
Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
May require a bachelor's degree; relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks; reports to a manager; creates solutions with creativity and latitude.
