Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS seeks an Epic Cupid Analyst to design, build, implement, and optimize Epic Cupid workflows across Cardiac Cath Lab, EEG, EKG, and Respiratory Therapy.

The analyst collaborates with clinical teams and leadership to ensure safe, efficient, standardized workflows and serves as SME for Cupid. Hybrid role with onsite presence at least twice weekly, and occasional evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, clinical discipline, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3+ years of healthcare IT or clinical workflow experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Cupid functionality for cardiac workflows (Cath Lab, EKG/ECG, EEG).
• Build and maintain orders, documentation, scheduling, results, and forms; coordinate device integrations.
• Troubleshoot workflow, documentation, scheduling, interfaces, and device issues; investigate root causes.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to design Epic solutions and participate in governance.
• Develop and execute testing plans; validate interfaces and integrated workflows; provide go-live support.
