Job summary

Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, DPC is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer to join our hybrid team in Millburn, NJ (hybrid) or Newburgh, NY. The role focuses on environmental investigations, remediation design, and multi-project coordination.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years in environmental engineering and project management, with a B.S. in Civil/Environmental Eng and EIT preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of environmental engineering and project management experience.
• Bachelors degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage all phases of environmental projects from initiation to deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors and vendors for quality execution.
• Lead project coordination meetings and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts and resources across multiple projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing technical work.
• Analyze environmental data and prepare QA/QC reports.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and client deliverables.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.
