Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid California Driver's License (CDL) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a broad range of animal mortality research and assessment projects.
• Provide strategic direction on the development and implementation of statewide resiliency plans and investments related to animal mortality management.
• Lead statewide enforcement of environmental health laws pertaining to meat, poultry and egg safety.
• Coordinate strategic planning efforts to improve environmental health and the sustainability of California agriculture.
