Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to join the Remediation team in Rocky Hill, CT. The position involves 60% fieldwork and 40% office work, supporting site assessments, data collection, and report preparation.

This role requires a BA/BS in a related field, a valid US driver's license, and U.S. citizenship. Travel to client sites is expected as projects progress, with onboarding and training at our office.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Valid US Driver’s License and ability to pass the AECOM Motor Vehicle screening.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Frequent travel to field locations and occasional overnight travel.
• Willingness to perform field and data collection activities.

Responsibilities

• Project field and office support for site assessment and remediation projects.
• Site visits at industrial, federal, commercial, and municipal facilities.
• Data collection and analysis for environmental compliance and sustainability.
• Environmental sampling (soil, sediment, groundwater, stormwater, wastewater, air).
• Development of technical memoranda and reports.
• Use of CAD, GIS, and data analysis tools as engineering support.
