GFT is seeking an Entry Level Civil Site Design Engineer to join our Buildings & Places group in Tampa, FL. This role follows a hybrid work model with regular attendance at the Tampa office, supporting site/civil design from planning through construction on a variety of projects.

You will prepare project drawings, reports and calculations, assist project managers, and coordinate with architects, surveyors and owners.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 0-2 years of civil/site/land development experience.
• Interest in civil site design or land development through coursework or internships.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Prepare project drawings, engineering reports and calculations.
• Support Project Managers and other professionals on projects.
• Design site and civil infrastructure improvements (grading, drainage, utilities).
• Coordinate with managers, landscape architects, surveyors, architects and owners.
• Prepare stormwater reports and permit applications.
