Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to be based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a hybrid work model. The position begins in May 2027 and offers exposure to high-impact infrastructure projects.

You will develop analytical and design skills under the guidance of experienced engineers, contributing to drawings, calculations, and data analysis while learning Bentley OpenRoads Designer and other tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License to visit project sites and offices.
• Motor Vehicle Records check required.

Responsibilities

• Builds analytic and design skills.
• Conducts engineering design under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams and drawings under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes data under supervision.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work within budget and schedule under supervision.
