Amtex Enterprises Inc. in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Solutions Architect to identify, design, and implement enterprise architecture standards across applications, services, and infrastructure.

The role operates on a hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, with a one-hour commute preference for candidates near the client. The candidate will lead integration strategy, establish data standards, and support senior management on major technology initiatives.

Formación

• 7 years of experience making informed decisions under uncertainty, weighing multiple factors and constraints and considering long-term implications
• 7 years of experience with electronic data processing platforms and software
• 7 years of experience with database and data dictionary systems and applications
• 7 years of experience with application portfolio management, software design patterns, application integration, legacy system modernization, and application lifecycle management
• 7 years of experience with data modeling, data governance, master data management, data warehousing, analytics platforms, and data quality frameworks
• 7 years of experience with infrastructure components, platforms, development tools, middleware, and technology standards across both on-premises and cloud-based environments
• 7 years of experience preparing clear, accurate, and informative reports and documentation on database systems, including data dictionary documentation
• 7 years of experience collaborating effectively with project teams and stakeholders at all levels
• 7 years of experience communicating effectively in writing and verbally with various levels of personnel
• 7 years of experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• 7 years of experience maintaining essential records and files
• 7 years of experience learning and utilizing various types of electronic and manual recording and information systems used by the agency
• 7 years of experience reading, writing, speaking, understanding, and communicating in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position
• 7 years of experience in government or regulatory environments
• 7 years understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software development lifecycle practices

Responsabilidades

• Identify, research, discuss, design, and implement architecture standards across application development, service delivery, and infrastructure
• Design integration strategies for disparate systems, applications, and data sources
• Establish common interfaces, architecture principles, data standards, and best practices
• Support senior management on complex technology initiatives and investment decisions
• Create and maintain an architecture review process to evaluate proposed solutions against standards and objectives
• Collaborate with security team to ensure regulatory compliance and security requirements
• Provide strategic architectural guidance while considering practical implications of technology decisions
