Job summary

Amtex Enterprises Inc. in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Solutions Architect to identify, design, and implement enterprise architecture standards across applications, services, and infrastructure.

The role operates on a hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, with a one-hour commute preference for candidates near the client. The candidate will lead integration strategy, establish data standards, and support senior management on major technology initiatives.

• 7 years of experience with application portfolio management, software design patterns, application integration, legacy system modernization, and application lifecycle management

• 7 years of experience with infrastructure components, platforms, development tools, middleware, and technology standards across both on-premises and cloud-based environments

• 7 years of experience communicating effectively in writing and verbally with various levels of personnel

Job Title : Solution Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to identify, research, discuss, design, and implement enterprise architecture standards across application development, service delivery, and infrastructure. A hybrid work schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote; there may be some flexibility in the onsite work arrangement. However, candidates need to be within a 1-hour commute of the client.

What You’ll Do

• Work across Application Development, Service Delivery, and Infrastructure to identify, research, discuss, design, and implement key architecture standards
• Design integration strategies for disparate systems, applications, and data sources across the enterprise
• Establish common interfaces, architecture principles, data standards, and best practices
• Support senior management on complex technology initiatives and investment decisions
• Create and maintain an architecture review process to evaluate proposed solutions against standards and strategic objectives
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure solutions meet organizational and regulatory requirements
• Provide strategic architectural guidance while considering the practical implications of technology decisions across the organization

• 7 years experience multi-cloud experience
• Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, cloud migrations, or enterprise modernization programs from inception through completion
• Comfort presenting to executive leadership, board members, or external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate complex technical strategies in business terms
