Job summary

Allegion Canada Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define and document the architecture of our enterprise technology landscape, including COTS platforms, custom apps, cloud services, data platforms and integrations.

You will partner with global business and IT teams to shape direction and governance. The role emphasizes balancing business objectives with stability, scalability and security, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or related design roles.
• Experience with COTS, SaaS, custom apps, APIs, data platforms and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware, microservices, event‑driven architecture, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Strong communication across technical, business, delivery and leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of enterprise architecture across applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, cloud services, and platforms.
• Provide visibility into the enterprise portfolio to support lifecycle management, modernization, and investment decisions.
• Collaborate on business capability mapping and portfolio analysis to reduce redundancy and improve alignment.
• Advise on integration design across systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance, and promote reuse of standards and patterns.
• Identify risks and modernization paths, and support adoption of cloud-first, API-first approaches.
