Job summary

E&C Consultants in the United States is seeking an energy risk manager to analyze markets and advise clients on fixing and unfixing forward energy and gas prices. The role blends quantitative analysis with proactive client guidance in a hybrid/remote environment based in Kentucky or Ohio.

You will use our ePoint platform to generate hedge ideas, select options, and communicate recommendations to clients and consultants.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, energy, or business management.
Experience in energy markets is a plus; internal training provided.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Willing to work hybrid/remote within US, ideally Kentucky or Ohio.

Responsibilities

Analyze global energy markets daily for North American clients.
Use ePoint to generate hedge recommendations for clients.
Review hedge options and decide on client actions.
Execute recommendations using hedge tool and communicate to clients.
Comment market evolutions and recommendations to clients and consultants.
Assist clients with administrative execution of fix/unfix decisions.
Evaluate OTC quotes and negotiate with suppliers to obtain better prices.
Track all activity in the ePoint system for data engineers.
On days with low hedging activity, perform fundamental energy market analysis for market reports.
