Wärtsilä Energy Services Legal & Compliance in Houston, Texas seeks a commercially minded Legal Counsel to act as a trusted partner to the business, advising on a broad range of legal and compliance matters and developing new business models including decarbonisation services.
You will join a global legal team, report to the Head of Legal, Energy Services, and help navigate international contracts, cross-border projects, and innovative energy solutions while working in a hybrid setup with
Formación
- Experience as in-house or private practice lawyer; energy sector experience a plus.
- Experience with international corporate and commercial transactions.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills; strategic thinker.
- Willingness to travel and work in a multicultural, virtual team.
Responsabilidades
- Provide commercially oriented legal support and compliance advice.
- Review, negotiate, draft and advise on transactions and contracts.
- Support business model development and governance.
- Manage claims and disputes.
- Deliver training on legal and compliance issues.
