Jobot is seeking a Permanent Electrical Project Engineer (Hybrid) to design, implement, and monitor electrical systems for construction projects. You will use AGI, SKM, and lighting design programs to craft energy-efficient solutions while collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and high performance.

The role requires a PE license, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and a passion for sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• PE license required.
• LEED AP certification strongly preferred.
• Energy modeling experience required or demonstrated.
• Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems for a range of construction projects, ensuring compliance with codes.
• Utilize AGI, SKM, and other lighting design programs to create energy-efficient lighting solutions.
• Monitor design and installation processes to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate electrical components with other systems.
• Incorporate hybrid technologies and LEED best practices into designs.
• Conduct energy modeling and adjust designs for efficiency.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues.
• Maintain thorough documentation of design and implementation.
