Ford Motor Company seeks a Product Development Engineer to define and own the electronic hardware requirements for closure subsystems across Ford architectures. You will lead hardware design, perform load analysis, and coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure robust, compliant electronics from concept to production.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive electronic circuit design experience.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital hardware in automotive control systems.
• Experience with EMC specs and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with PPAP is a plus.
• Proficiency with lab equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret automotive electrical schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electronic hardware design for closure subsystems with cross-functional teams.
• Define and ensure compliance with technical specs and Ford requirements.
• Perform load analysis and power distribution optimization.
• Collaborate with Safety teams to ensure ISO 26262 compliance.
• Interface with suppliers to drive component development and resolve deviations.
• Lead design reviews and sign-off on CDS and DV/PV plans.
• Support PPAP and validation activities for closure modules.
• Provide technical guidance to global Body/ Zonal Module engineers.
• Review supplier verification results and drive corrective actions.
