Job summary

Unity Staffing Services is recruiting on behalf of a leading MEP engineering firm for an Electrical Engineer in West Chester, PA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, balancing on-site and remote duties, with responsibilities spanning design of electrical infrastructure, lighting, and power distribution for commercial and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate holds a BSEE, 3+ years of experience, and hands-on skills with NEC compliance, AutoCAD/Revit, and electrical load

Qualifications

• BSEE – Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of professional experience designing building electrical systems.
• Experience with power distribution and lighting systems.
• AutoCAD and/or Revit proficiency.
• Knowledge of the NEC.
• Electrical load calculations, voltage drop analyses.
• Coordination with HVAC/mechanical, architectural and structural disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical load calculations, fault current studies, and voltage drop analyses.
• Design and engineer power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Ensure NEC and local codes compliance across project phases.
• Specify electrical components and system architectures.
• Produce schematics, drawings, and schedules using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for compliance.
• Oversee on-site engineering tasks and conduct site surveys.
