Job summary

Hammond & Associates seeks an Electrical Design Engineer 2 with 5+ years of experience in building systems design. You will assist in developing power distribution and lighting systems, perform load calculations, and produce design deliverables aligned with NEC and project needs.

The role requires strong communication with clients and team members, proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, and a Bachelor’s degree. Hybrid work is available in the Orlando area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Building Systems Design.
• Experience with NEC code and project delivery standards.
• Familiarity with Revit (preferred) and AutoCAD for design deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop power distribution and lighting designs per client specs.
• Perform load calculations and prepare design deliverables.
• Coordinate with other trades and attend design meetings.
• Support fast-paced project teams and meet deadlines.
• Produce clear, thorough design documentation.
