Job summary

System One in Amery, WI seeks an Electric Distribution Designer / Project Coordinator to support electric distribution projects for new and existing customers. This role blends customer interaction, project coordination, field assessments, and distribution system design.

You will work with Operations and Engineers across office, remote, and field settings, applying GE Smallworld GIS and basic electrical design tasks while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate electric distribution projects for new and existing residential and commercial customers.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review new customer requests and project information and determine next steps.
• Conduct field assessments at residential, commercial, and construction sites.
• Develop distribution system designs using GE Smallworld GIS platform.
• Perform basic electrical design activities including transformer sizing and pole placement.
• Coordinate multiple projects and adjust priorities as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Distribution Engineers, and other teams.
• Translate technical information into clear customer explanations.
• Maintain accurate project information and documentation.
• Participate in scheduling meetings and ongoing training.
• Follow safety procedures during field activities.
