Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EEG procedures across routine, long-term, and ambulatory studies.
• Understanding of neurophysiology to identify clinically significant events during testing.
• Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to neurology and neurodiagnostics.
• Experience or training in intraoperative monitoring is beneficial.
• Completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program or equivalent training; national certification preferred.
• Clinical or hospital setting experience in neurodiagnostics or neurology.
• Clear communication with patients and healthcare teams; accurate documentation.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EEG and related procedures.
• Explain tests in clear, reassuring language to patients.
• accurately place electrodes and monitor equipment per protocols.
• Conduct routine, long-term, and ambulatory EEG studies; monitor data quality.
• Annotate and document events to assist physicians with interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with neurologists and clinicians; ensure complete patient records.
• Ensure timely and accurate patient reports and documentation.
