ICF is seeking an Economics Specialist to join our Regulatory, Policy and Economics practice, providing research, analysis, and policy support for public-sector clients. The role is hybrid from Reston, VA (preferred) or Waltham, MA, with a Summer 2027 start and anticipated pay in the low $60K range.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and synthesize information from rulemaking documents, literature, or other technical reports to support program design or implementation.
• Perform cost-benefit, statistical/econometrics, or other quantitative analyses to assess industry response to changing regulatory requirements.
• Develop analytical methods, databases, and models (e.g., in R, Excel) to quantify the costs, benefits, or other regulatory impacts.
• Drafting and editing rulemaking support documents.
• Provide other general program support.
