Job summary
The Tennessee Department of Transportation seeks an Economic Projects Statewide Technical Specialist to ensure project development aligns with TDOT guidelines and state code. You will serve as a subject matter expert for economics projects, guiding scope, schedule, and budget across TDOT divisions and external partners.

Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years demonstrated competency or Master's Degree and 7 years demonstrated competency in related field.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Teams as the economic projects subject matter expert.
- Assist the Engineering Concepts Team with review of potential investigations, cost estimates, evaluation, and concept reports.
- Apply context-sensitive design strategies and innovative concepts aligned with Asset Management objectives.
- Integrate Quality Management into all deliverables per TDOT processes and PDN.
- Collaborate with Asset Management, HQ divisions, and Regions to share knowledge and best practices.
- Assist in training TDOT staff and external stakeholders on economic project development and delivery.
