Job summary

Ridwell in Puyallup, WA is seeking an adaptable driver with warehouse responsibilities to support our growing operations. You will safely operate high-roof cargo vans, complete daily stops, collect materials from members, and transition to warehouse tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has a valid WA license, at least three years of driving, and strong customer service skills. We offer a 4x10 schedule, wage of $22–$26.50 per hour, with tenure raises at six months and one year.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid WA driver’s license.
• Must have had a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions in English.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, and lift up to 49 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must own and be able to use a smartphone and Google or Apple maps.
• Ability to communicate effectively digitally via text and email.
• Must pass a background and motor vehicle history check if offered the position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Ridwell high-roof cargo vans throughout the Austin area
• Complete between 125 - 150 daily stops efficiently and accurately
• Collect members' materials from designated bins at their homes
• Assist with completing remaining stops after finishing your assigned route
• Navigate routes effectively using the provided smartphone apps
• Maintain regular communication with our dedicated Driver Support team regarding route timing
• Manage loading and unloading of vehicles efficiently
• Deliver Ridwell bins and new member kits to members’ homes
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with Ridwell members
• Work safely outdoors and in all weather conditions, various temperature extremes, including heat, cold, moisture, and wind
• Transition between driving and warehouse responsibilities as needed
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures consistently
• Support additional operational needs as they arise
• Maintain positive communication with team members across all functions
• A smartphone is required for GPS navigation and route management (phone stipend provided).
