Job summary

Jacobs Virginia Transportation team seeks a motivated Drainage Design Engineer to deliver roadway drainage for Virginia highway projects. You’ll perform storm drainage analysis, design, and documentation while coordinating with other disciplines.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, transportation drainage experience, and proficiency with drainage software. PE license preferred; Master’s degree and related PS&E exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience on transportation and drainage design projects.
• Ability to coordinate drainage design phases with other teams.
• Experience with Drainage and Hydraulic Modeling software.
• Experience creating technical documents and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide drainage design for roadway/highway projects across Virginia.
• Perform storm drainage analysis and design.
• Prepare technical reports, memos, and construction plans.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects.
