The ideal candidate has 10 years of direct DoD financial management experience and strong skills with CCAR, GAFS, FM Suite, and WAWF.

Qualifications

• 10 years of direct experience in DoD financial management, preferably supporting space programs.
• Experience in government (military and/or civil servant), FF RDCs, or government contractor environments.
• Strong proficiency with DoD financial policies and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to reconcile complex financial data and produce actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth financial research and data reconciliation across multiple systems and reports.
• Interpret complex financial data and generate recommended actions for leadership decisions.
• Develop and manage financial staffing packages, ensuring compliance with DoD policies.
• Apply financial concepts and DoD guidance to daily operations.
• Implement DoD financial management instructions and policies in routine work.
• Utilize CCAR, GAFS, FM Suite, and WAWF for tracking and managing financial transactions.
• Develop tools and applications to foster efficiency and automation in financial activities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Support financial planning, budget execution, and forecasting for government space programs.
