Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the Team Manager (DESA I), the Disability Evaluation Analyst (DEA) handles a caseload of initial benefits claims under Social Security, SSI, and/or Medi-Cal Disability, with medical/vocational evidence.
• Collaborates with a Medical Consultant to establish eligibility and participates in team decisions on workflow and quality.
