Job summary

Center for Responsible Lending seeks a dynamic Director of Philanthropy to shape CRL’s fundraising strategy and drive annual revenue. You will lead a team, manage relationships with foundations, corporations, and major donors, and align fundraising with CRL’s research and advocacy priorities.

You’ll report to leadership, build a robust philanthropy program, and engage with boards and partners to advance economic equity for underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of fundraising experience with foundations, corporations, and/or major individual donors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals (grants and individual giving).
• Experience positioning philanthropic programs to align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead CRL’s philanthropy strategy and annual/multi-year revenue goals.
• Grow foundations and individual donor funding and manage relationships with funders.
• Write proposals, reports, and stewardship communications for funders.
