KQED’s Production Coordinator (Temporary) supports the day-to-day operations of Digital Video productions from pre-production through delivery and archiving. The role coordinates calendars, resources, and documentation across Airtable and other systems, ensuring projects stay organized and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in video production coordination or related field.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of digital video production workflows from pre- to post-production.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day production and post-production needs across multiple projects.
• Maintain calendars, trackers, schedules, and documentation in Airtable and other systems.
• Manage space, equipment, and vendor logistics for productions.
• Prepare and distribute production documents, releases, and permits.
• Assist with external collaborators, contracts, invoices, and rights documentation.
• Track deliverables, deadlines, and approvals across projects.
