Jacobs is seeking a Digital and Data Accounting Manager to ensure the integrity of the general ledger and accurate project accounting for DaaS and Streetlight initiatives. You will lead the month-end close, oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS contracts, and manage software capitalization under ASC 350-40 while coordinating with global teams.

The role requires 8+ years in accounting, hands-on Sage Intacct experience, and a strong mix of GL, revenue, and project accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including GL, revenue accounting, project accounting, and financial reporting.
• Direct SaaS accounting experience, including subscription revenue and ASC 606 compliance.
• Hands-on Sage Intacct experience managing accounting operations and reporting.
• Experience with software capitalization accounting under ASC 350-40.

Responsabilités

• Own the integrity of the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Manage the month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring milestones are met.
• Recreate reconciliations and assist Poland team in maintaining reconciliation discipline.
• Create monthly royalties and internal reports for DaaS and Streetlight initiatives.
• Lead project accounting for consulting, including revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Coordinate SaaS revenue processes to accurately state subscription revenue, deferred revenue, and contract balances.
• Oversee project setup, cost capture, and margin accuracy at engagement level.
• Maintain sales tax compliance with external consultants and internal tax teams.
