Job summary

Essnova Solutions, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud-native deployments for a federal program. Hybrid work with occasional onsite support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps, experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins, and robust security testing. Public Trust clearance is required to support government initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering or SRE.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Hands-on with IaC using Terraform or OpenTofu; containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implementing automated security testing (SAST/DAST/secret scanning) in pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub or GitLab for source control; cloud environments such as AWS/Azure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for enterprise apps.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Build and support containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate security controls and automated testing into deployment pipelines.
• Automate configuration management with Ansible or similar tools.
• Support cloud-native deployments and modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with software, cloud, cybersecurity, and system admin teams.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and security hardening; ensure compliance.
