Job summary

CESO, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, secure, and automate cloud infrastructure and hosting environments.

This role bridges infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure delivery of applications and AI solutions. You will own Azure standards, CI/CD pipelines, security controls, observability, disaster recovery, and environment management across development, testing, and production, collaborating with teams

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure administration, cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Experience designing and supporting Azure environments, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise application hosting platforms.
• Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, Cybersecurity certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, governance policies, naming conventions, tagging strategies, and environment management practices.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes across environments.
• Own Azure networking architecture, including virtual networks, private endpoints, VPN connectivity, DNS, network segmentation, and secure remote access.
• Manage Azure RBAC, managed identities, service principals, privileged access, and least-privilege security models.
• Collaborate with software engineering to implement secure coding practices and security-focused workflows.
• Configure and manage SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, code quality controls, and vulnerability management processes.
• Design and support perimeter security solutions (WAF, Azure Front Door, Application Gateway).
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, and telemetry (Azure Monitor, App Insights).
• Design and maintain high availability, backup, geo-replication, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
