Job summary

Rohirrim in McLean, VA is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Azure-based CI/CD environment. The role blends development, security, and operations to build and maintain scalable pipelines across hundreds of instances in a multi-tenant setup.

You will automate with Python and PowerShell, deploy AKS clusters, integrate Entra ID/Auth0, enforce SOC2 and ISO 27001 controls, and monitor performance with Application Insights, while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years Azure DevOps experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS a plus).
• Strong understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and extend backend automation and integration tools using Python to support secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy our application to hundreds of instances.
• Manage multi-tenant environments.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell or Bash.
• Integrate Client IAM (Entra ID) with Application Auth0/Octa.
• Security and Compliance: SOC2, ISO 27001, CMMC2.
• Monitor & Dashboard application performance using Application Insights.
• Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Implement and manage identity and access management solutions using Entra ID, including configuring conditional access policies, RBAC, service principals, and integrating authentication/authorization for cloud-based applications and services.
