Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded firmware, desktop, and web apps. You will automate builds, tests, releases, and deployments with GitHub Actions, and develop IaC for scalable environments.

The role covers Windows/Linux administration, containerized apps, and securing dependencies while collaborating across hardware and software teams. Hybrid schedule after training period.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps experience.
• Windows/Linux administration and deployment.
• Expert with automated build systems, CI/CD, release automation and test automation.
• Expert in usage of Git, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in containerized applications such as Docker.
• Perform repository management and branching strategies.
• Setup infrastructure relating to artifact management and release processes.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Proficient developing cloud and on-premise web app deployment workflows.
• Familiar with web servers and application hosting.
• Familiar with security scanning tools (CodeQL, Dependabot, Semgrep, SonarQube).
• Demonstrated AI literacy to enhance DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting embedded firmware, desktop applications, web applications, and cloud services.
• Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes using GitHub Actions and other DevOps tools.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for scalable development and test environments.
• Support development workflows for battery sensing systems, BMS, battery charger software, test application software.
• Support deployment and operation of Web applications, Native and Containerized deployments on Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS platforms, and manufacturing/diagnostic tools.
• Maintain development, staging, validation, and production environments.
• Automate system provisioning, configuration management, software deployment, and reporting processes.
• Monitor security vulnerabilities against third-party artifact dependencies.
