The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and 5+ years in design release or related roles, with proficiency in NX/Unigraphics and Teamcenter.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
5+ years of experience as a Design Release Engineer or in a related role.
Proficiency with NX or Teamcenter/Unigraphics.
Experience in vehicle development cycles from concept to production launch.
Program management skills and cross-functional leadership.
Physics-based problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

Lead or participate in multi-functional Product Development Teams for exterior subsystems.
Design, engineer, and release exterior components (BGFT) on schedule and to spec.
Create ICDs, DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, drawings, and BOMs for program milestones.
Support design reviews and technical reviews ensuring design fidelity.
Collaborate with studios, suppliers, manufacturing, and quality functions.
Assist launch efforts with plants and cross-functional personnel to resolve issues.
