Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Data Scientist in Ashburn, VA to join a dynamic team focused on national security projects. The role is hybrid with two days onsite and three remote, offering work across digital transformation, cybersecurity, IT, data analytics and software development.

The successful candidate will apply ML techniques to construct predictive models, handle CBP data, and contribute to mission-critical decisions. U.S. citizenship and DHS CBP suitability eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree as listed in the ad with related field.
• Experience with ML modeling and advanced analytics.
• Proficiency in Python/R and SQL required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on analysis and modeling with experiments and feature generation.
• Prepare data by cleaning and transforming CBP data for predictive models.
• Develop and evaluate predictive analytics models to inform decisions.
• Execute projects identifying patterns in large datasets and perform NLP tasks.
