Job summary

AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Transmission Infrastructure Asset Management Strategy and Planning team. You will analyze, process, and model data to develop data-driven solutions for interim and long-term asset management.

This 2+ year consultant role offers hybrid work in Vancouver, WA with on-site Tue–Thu. The ideal candidate has advanced degrees in math/CS/ML/statistics and extensive experience with statistical methods, ML, and data visualization; strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in advanced mathematics, CS, ML, or statistics.
• With a Master's, 7 years of hands-on experience required.
• With a Bachelor's, 9 years of experience required.
• Manipulating data sets, querying databases, building statistical models.
• Statistical or data mining techniques.
• Using Web Services; analyzing data from 3rd party users.
• Developing data models and algorithms; creating ML algorithms.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, risk analysis, probability, statistics, and electric utility operations.
• 10+ graduate credits in CS algorithms, statistics, software design or data management OR data science certifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, process and model data and interpret results to develop data-driven solutions.
• Provide analytical expertise for planning, development, integration and implementation of asset management technologies.
• Translate business objectives into questions answered by data-driven analysis.
