Job summary

Charles Schwab in Austin, TX, is hiring a Manager, Data Risk Analyst to help advance an enterprise-wide data governance risk program. You will work across Data Risk Management, Technology Risk Management, Data Governance, and business teams to identify risks and strengthen risk-based decisions.

This role offers a hybrid work model with four days in the office and one day remote, and the opportunity to partner with leaders across the firm to improve controls and data risk practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of professional data governance experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with databases and cross-functional process management.
• Experience across business and IT functions.
• Knowledge of relational data models and data extraction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify and monitor data governance risks.
• Provide independent challenge on how data risk is addressed.
• Contribute data risk perspective to cross-functional projects and reviews.
• Build relationships across risk, control, technology, and data teams.
• Help maintain team resources and communication channels.
