Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Data Product and Integration Analyst in Richmond, VA, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule. The role connects business stakeholders, analytics, data engineering, and tech partners to define and govern enterprise data used for customer segmentation and critical policy analytics.

You will translate business needs into data requirements, validate mappings, document lineage, and support data quality controls while improving data accessibility and scalable data products for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems, Data Analytics, CS, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in data analysis, business analysis, data governance, data stewardship, data modeling, or data engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with SQL, including complex queries for large data sets.
• Minimum 3 years' experience using Power BI with semantic models, dataflows, gateways, and publishing to Power BI Server.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Python or R.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality initiatives.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Azure or other cloud environments and data services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain curated datasets that integrate data across systems for customer segmentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineering to source, transform, and trust enterprise data assets.
• Validate data mappings, lineage, and business rules for accuracy and traceability.
• Develop and maintain data products that enable reporting and analytics.
• Govern data quality, metadata, glossaries, and lineage documentation.
• Define and monitor data quality controls and remediation with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into actionable data requirements for technical teams.
• Support enterprise initiatives involving customer segmentation, risk analytics, and operational reporting.
