Job summary

SBS Creatix seeks a Data Integration Engineer to support Defense sector clients in a hybrid role based in the Washington DC metro area, onsite at Rosslyn, Mark Center, and Pentagon. The role centers on designing, validating, and stabilizing data integrations across financial systems, ERP platforms, and analytics environments.

Responsibilities include ensuring secure data movement, conducting source-to-target validation, and supporting SIT/UAT and production deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
• 10+ years in enterprise data integration or cloud data engineering.
• US citizenship with an active Secret clearance (sponsorship available).
• Experience with APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, batch processing, or middleware platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data validation/reconciliation.

Job description

We're seeking a Data Integration Engineer for an exciting direct-hire opportunity supporting Defense sector clients. This role sits at the intersection of financial management, cloud data platforms, enterprise applications, and emerging AI technologies -- designing, validating, testing, and stabilizing data layer integrations across financial systems, ERP platforms, staging environments, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions.

You'll ensure financial and operational data moves accurately, completely, and securely from source systems through transformation pipelines into downstream reporting platforms, with a strong emphasis on source-to-target validation, three-way reconciliation, interface reliability, and data quality.

Supported platforms include OneStream, ERP systems, GTAS reporting, and War Data Platform, using tools like Power BI, Databricks, Palantir, Celonis, SQL, Python, and agentic AI. This hybrid role is based in the Washington, DC metro area, with onsite time in Rosslyn, the Mark Center, and Pentagon.

Required Skills

• 10+ years supporting enterprise data integration, financial systems, ERP modernization, or cloud data engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.
• U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance (sponsorship available).
• Experience with APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, batch processing, or middleware platforms.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience validating and reconciling large datasets.
• Experience with source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, and enterprise data quality analysis.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-production support.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Databricks) and strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OneStream or other Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Momentum.
• Knowledge of federal financial management (GTAS, USSGL, Treasury reporting, audit readiness).
• Experience with Advana, War Data Platform, or similar Department of War data platforms.
• Experience with integration technologies (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka) or modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Fabric).
• Relevant certifications (Azure Data Engineer, Databricks, AWS, CSM, CDMP) or a background as a Software, Cloud, Data, API, or Middleware Engineer.
