Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a detail-oriented data entry specialist to support claims processing on a contract basis. You will enter and verify coded data, handle daily reconciliation of customer claims, and provide courteous service to resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities include processing 300-350 claims per day as needed, requesting account adjustments, and training staff as needed. The role operates within a Hybrid Workforce Strategy with on-site attendance at Elevance Health locations.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years data entry and customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily reconciliation of customer claims.
• Requests account adjustments.
• Provides superior, professional, and courteous service to customers and timely and accurate resolution of claims issues and adjustments regarding patient profiles, etc.
• Makes significant contribution to work team as an independent problem solver and decision-maker who works without significant guidance.
• Assists with training of staff. Processes 300-350 claims per day as needed.
