CURE Auto Insurance in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines powering analytics and data products for a P&C auto insurance business. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years in data engineering with SQL and analytical modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with modern data warehouses/lakehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Familiarity with data quality/testing and observability patterns.
• Understanding of data security fundamentals (PII, encryption, RBAC).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Integrate data from core insurance systems (policy, billing, claims).
• Model and curate analytical datasets (policy, exposure, loss).
• Implement data quality checks and anomaly detection.
• Develop and maintain a data lake/warehouse (schema, performance).
• Collaborate on governance, security, retention, and auditability.
• Operate data workflows in production with monitoring and SLAs.
• Contribute to CI/CD, IaC, testing, reviews, and docs.
