Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer in Los Angeles to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.

The role focuses on data ingestion, processing, storage, and ensuring data security and accessibility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL, Python/Java/Scala, and experience with Snowflake, Airflow, and Hadoop/Spark, plus cloud exposure (AWS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with data pipelines and ETL tools (Snowflake, NiFi, Airflow, Talend).
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
