Job summary

STEM Search Group is seeking a data engineering professional to design and optimize production‑grade data pipelines and data warehouses. You will collaborate with a data science team, implement ETL using C#, Python, SSIS, and SQL Server 2019–2025, and work with Databricks in a hybrid office/remote setting.

You will join a seasoned team of engineers, contribute to agile planning, ensure code quality with documentation, and grow with AI initiatives in data warehousing and engineering.

Qualifications

• Production‑grade data pipelines and enterprise data warehouse design experience
• Hands‑on SQL Server 2019–2025 and SSIS ETL development
• Proficient in C# and Python with ability to interface with data science outputs
• Familiar with Databricks environments for cloud/big data initiatives
• Team‑oriented, problem‑solving mindset in a hybrid in‑office/remote environment
• Knowledge of SDLC and version control; may complete a programmer aptitude test
• Interest in AI as it relates to data warehousing and data engineering

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data pipelines using C#, Python, SSIS, and SQL Server
• Design data warehouses and data structures for reliable downstream use
• Collaborate with data science to productionize models and prototypes
• Work with a team of eight data engineers and consultants; leverage Databricks as needed
• Contribute to agile estimation, clean coding, and comprehensive documentation
