Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Data Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team supporting an AI initiative. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines, performing data analysis, and enabling ML development across multiple environments and classification levels.

The position requires 2–8+ years of related experience, strong Python/PySpark/SQL skills, and the ability to work onsite at Springfield, VA or Fairfax, VA as needed. Ability to obtain TS/SCI with Poly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in a data/engineering related field.
• 2–8+ years of relevant data engineering/DS/CS experience.
• Strong Python, PySpark, SQL and data parsing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for AI initiatives.
• Perform data analysis to support ML development across environments.
• Extract, transform, and load data for ML ingestion.
• Document data workflows and data management procedures.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal teams.
• Identify and address technical challenges independently.
• Improve data delivery processes and automate manual tasks.
• Produce complex data analyses and present results clearly.
