CVS Health is hiring a Data Engineer in Irving, TX to analyze data engineering problems and design, build, and manage large-scale ETL pipelines. You will develop data structures, integrate with Data Science models, and ensure data quality for reporting and analytics.

The role requires mastery of big data platforms, ETL, and backend services, with hybrid work options and collaboration across teams in a dynamic health-care ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering or related field with two years of experience.
• Experience with big data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), SAS/SQL, visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau), Spark/PySpark/Scala, ETL, production code deployment, and backend services development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data engineering problems and develop, build and manage large-scale data structures, pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Science to integrate models and algorithms into automated processes.
• Test, maintain and troubleshoot systems; optimize Hadoop-based pipelines and data flows.
