Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in McLean, VA (also Boston, MA and Plano, TX) is seeking a Data Engineer for a 12-month hybrid contract. You will work on a Python-based, AWS-native data ingestion platform moving financial data into a 3rd party application.

You will build and maintain pipeline stages across ingest, validation, tokenization, and publishing, with unit and end-to-end testing, and ensure data-protection compliance. Strong Python and AWS skills, Git/CI-CD discipline required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and AWS (Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3).
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines with testing practices.
• Familiarity with data protection standards and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipeline stages across ingest, validation, tokenization, and publishing.
• Support E2E and system test phases and remediate security findings.
