NW Natural is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join the Security Operations Team in Portland, OR. The role focuses on compliance with state and federal regulations, implementing security controls across IT and OT environments, and collaborating with Network and Cloud teams.

Candidates should have deep information security experience, scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash), and familiarity with SIEM, IAM, Windows and Linux systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of information security experience for Level 3.
• Minimum eight years of information security experience for Level 4.
• Bachelor’s degree in information security or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; ITIL Foundations cert required within 90 days; US citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Security Consulting: research, design, test, implement and administer security technologies across projects.
• Connectivity and Automation: lead SIEM log collection and automate security integrations.
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response: review alerts, respond to incidents and coordinate with experts.
• General: create documentation, present findings, and mentor teammates.
